He was under a lot of pressure when Man Utd played poorly, losing four matches in the English Premier League, including a 0-5 defeat to Liverpool and the latest a complete 0-2 loss to great rival Man City. They currently drop to sixth with 17 points, nine points behind leaders Chelsea. Before that, the “Red Devils” were eliminated early from the League Cup, and were uncertain about continuing in the Champions League when they won only two out of four matches in the group stage.
On November 8, Solskjaer, his wife and two sons rented a private plane to return to Kristiansund, Norway to enjoy a short vacation during the time when the clubs were not playing.
