My Uyen suggests ao dai with embossed motifs

Artist My Uyen wears a series of monochrome ao dai with 3D embossed patterns of birds, flowers and grass…



The female artist models for designer Minh Chau’s Ao Dai collection. The costume is embroidered with a pair of cranes, beaded by hand according to the trend of 3D motifs.



Also with the traditional shape, round neck, Ao Dai is attached with large text flowers on a monochrome silk fabric background.



The outfit was innovated with a deep V-slit detail. The designer chose a thin layer of chiffon with the same color tone, and decorated with horizontal stripes to create accents.



Symmetrical embroidered gold sequins pattern. Dark fabric helps conceal flaws in the bust, big waist…



Designers apply beading technique with large motifs around the neck, dotted along the hem of the shirt. My Uyen follows the trend of simple makeup, mainly eyebrows, foundation and nude lipstick.



My Uyen was born in 1975, graduated from Ho Chi Minh City College of Theater and Cinema. She started her artistic activities in 1994 with the first role in the movie “Land of Love”. In addition to acting, My Uyen is the director of the theater theater 5B Vo Van Tan in Ho Chi Minh City. She was awarded the title of Distinguished Artist in 2012. Her recent films include “Brilliant May”, “A Life of Resentment”… In August, she was on the list of suggested Artists. People of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.
