Notes when traveling to Da Lat after the distance

In November, Da Lat welcomed tourists back, which is also the beginning of the most beautiful season of the year, suitable for “changing the wind” after many months of separation.

Traveling to Da Lat this time, visitors always have to carry out 5K, prepare all necessary documents for a convenient and safe trip during the epidemic season. Here are some other notes travelers need to know before coming to Da Lat.

How to move

Visitors can come to Da Lat by many different means such as plane, car, personal motorbike or passenger car. Choose a plane or a bus, you should contact in advance, book tickets early to have a good seat and fares, especially when traveling on weekends.


Flights to Da Lat of all three airlines, Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air and Bamboo Airways have departed again with more flights and more affordable fares. If you book tickets for this week, departing from Hanoi, tickets are only from 500,000 VND/way, from Ho Chi Minh City, tickets are about 400,000 VND/way.


Specifically, for customers traveling by road from golden areas such as Ho Chi Minh City, they need to:

– Certificate of vaccination with 2 doses of vaccine over 14 days, or F0 with a certificate of cure

– Negative result for Covid-19 (rapid test or PCR is valid for 72 hours). You can get tested at local hospitals, clinics or right near the gate at Chuoi Pass. However, it is recommended to test locally to save time and be safer.

– Make on-site declaration and medical declaration on Vietnam Health Declaration application.

– Always adhere to 5K CZK

For passenger cars, Thanh Buoi has re-run the flights from Ho Chi Minh City – Da Lat and Can Tho to Da Lat, priced at 230,000 – 360,000 VND/person.

Booking accommodation

Many hotels and homestays have reopened, but many places have not yet been put into operation or closed. Guests need to check carefully by contacting directly, in addition to booking through online channels, to avoid the case that the property does not accept guests.

Visitors can refer to 4-5 star hotels and resorts such as Dalat Palace Heritage, Ana Mandara Villas Dalat, Kings Hotel… with a price range of 2-5 million VND/night, while many homestays have affordable prices like J. ‘adore, La Nha, Di House… about 400,000 VND/night or more.


Da Lat in November enters the end of the rainy season, the beginning of the dry season, the rains suddenly become less and the night gets colder. This week the temperature fluctuates from 16-26 degrees Celsius, while next week it is forecasted 16-21 degrees Celsius. Remember to bring warm clothes, raincoats, umbrellas for easy movement and outdoor play.

Fun spots

Taking advantage of the time when Da Lat is not too crowded, visitors can explore check-in with the seasons of roses, wild sunflowers, or wind-hanging rose gardens. In addition to the flower streets, you have more options when visiting cafes, tourism – accommodation complexes such as Still Dalat, Yen Garden Complex, Kombi Land, Yooberi, Dog Farm – Puppy Farm…
