This Spider-Man Comic Sold Rp. 48 Billion, You Can Buy 32 Tesla Model S

DALLAS, – One page of the 1984 edition of the Spider-Man comic was sold at auction for $3.36 million.

This price is equivalent to 35 units of Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus which is priced at IDR 1.5 billion per unit according to reports Cash.

The work was drawn by Mike Zeck and appears on page 25 of Secret Wars no 8 Marvel Comics.

One page of the comic is priced at 10 times the opening price because it was on that page that Spider-Man made his debut in a black costume.

Spider-Man’s black costume in this issue shows the “symbiote” suit that eventually leads to the character Venom.

The sale of one page of the Spider-Man comic was handled by Heritage Auctions and took place on Thursday (13/1/2022).

“When it reached the final price, breaking all previous comic art records, the auction gallery exploded with cheers,” Heritage Auctions said in a press release.

However, there is no further information about who the buyer or seller of the Spider-Man comic page sale was.

Spider-Man was created by Stan Lee and first appeared in comic books Marvel Amazing Fantasy number 15 in 1962.

Lee is a writer and former president of Marvel Comics.

Lee is also known for making breakthroughs through characters such as the blind Daredevil and Black Panther, Marvel’s first black superhero.
