The TASS news agency quoted the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on Saturday as saying that military forces Ukraine opened fire on Russian civilian ships en route from Greece to Taganrog in the Sea of Azov.
In particular, on March 12, Ukrainian Army troops fighting in the Southeast of the country indiscriminately attacked the Russian civilian cargo ship Sormovskiy 3064 in the Sea of Azov.
According to TASS, when attacked, the ship was moving from a Greek port to Taganrog. No casualties have been reported so far.

“The Main Bureau of Investigation of the Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation case for conspiracy to murder after the Russian ship was fired upon,” the statement said.
According to the commission, at the time of the shooting, the ship was 12 km north of the village of Shabelskoye, Shcherbinovsky district of Russia’s Krasnodar Territory. The ship caught fire after a bullet hit the captain’s cabin.
Thanks to the timely actions of the crew, the fire was localized and extinguished, after which the ship quickly left the area under attack.
Russia’s Investigative Committee said the Ukrainian soldier involved in the shooting was being identified.
