Last summer, Vietnamese YouTuber Vinh DK showed netizens this amazing phenomenon while filming the sunset at 9:30 p.m.
Vinh DK (real name Quang Vinh) is a well-known social media personality and YouTube content creator with videos around culture and life in Denmark. He has a Danish wife named Emma and now the whole family is living a very happy life.
In the video, Vinh shares: “Hello everyone, my wife and I are currently in the port area of the city of Sonderborg (Denmark) on a Saturday weekend. It’s 9pm, can’t you see the sun is just starting to set now? As promised, I’m shooting a video. which explains why in Denmark, it’s still light at 9pm.

In Denmark, on the exact day of the summer solstice, apparently mid-June, I don’t remember very well, that I was able to go to see the sunset at almost 10pm. It’s almost the end of July, so today the sun is setting at around 09:30. This one can be searched on the Internet for more clarity. Winter will be the opposite of summer, it will be very dark, around 15:30 it will be dark and then it will be a long morning in the morning, 9:30 am to see the Sun.
As YouTuber Vinh DK said, it is known that the midnight sun phenomenon often occurs in several countries located north of the Arctic Circle such as Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland…
Even in the Faroe Islands (Denmark), from early June to mid-July, the sun never sets here. This amazing phenomenon is called the “White Night”. Tourists often head to the Múlafossur waterfalls on the island of Vágar to watch the endless sunsets. It is also one of the few places in the world where a waterfall flows directly into the ocean.
