On the evening of January 17th, A.’s mother, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Luyen (27 years old, living in Canh Nau commune, Thach That district) took her baby to Thach That General Hospital in a coma and convulsions. Through examination, the doctor found that the baby’s right arm had been in a cast for 2 weeks.
After placing the tube and removing the film, the doctors found that the X-ray film had contrasting images of the skull. Initial diagnostic results confirmed that the baby was in a coma, suspected of having meningitis. The victim’s condition is confirmed to be very serious, with a high death rate.
About 1 hour later, baby A. was transferred to Saint Paul General Hospital for treatment. Here, when performing tomography, imaging detected 9 spikes in the skull and organization of the baby’s brain. The patient is in a very serious condition with a high risk of death.

Baby A. is the third youngest daughter of Tuan Do Huu Chung and Nguyen Thi Luyen. In June 2021, when his parents divorced, his two older sisters were adopted by their father, while little A. returned to live with his mother. Around this time, Ms. Luyen has an affair with his girlfriend Nguyen Trung Huyen (30 years old, lives in Thach That district). All three live in a motel room in the commune of Can Kiem (Thach That district).
