Clean and cut the chicken into several pieces. Put it in a large saucepan.
Peel 4 cloves of garlic and chop.
Peel the ginger root and chop it.
Finely chop 8 bell peppers and divide into 2 parts, 1 part is used to marinate the chicken and the other part is used to decorate the chicken after cooking.

In a chicken saucepan, add 1 tablespoon of shrimp paste, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and 4 tablespoons of fish sauce, mix well with your hands to allow the ingredients to soak into the chicken.

Let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (overnight is better).
Steamed chicken:
Remove the marinated chicken from the pan and place it on a plate, cover the chicken plate with foil, this will prevent the steam from falling on the pan lid to the chicken, avoiding the chicken taste fading.
