Designer duo Vu Ngoc & Son perform at Hoi An-Fashion

This is the 2nd solo show in 2022 from the designer duo.

Hoi An was the next stop where the designer duo had the 8th fashion show of their career.

After places like museums in Ho Chi Minh City, Truong Lang Fort in Hue, the designer duo continues to bring their guests to the ancient city of Hoi An. The show, entitled “Peaceful Sky”, was inspired by the serene beauty of the countryside and rich in culture and history in the central region. The show is scheduled to take place on June 4.

Designer Vu Ngoc Tu says: “We always choose culture as the foundation of our art creation. We used to take graves to many beautiful places, rich in culture and art. This time, with “Peaceful Sky”, Hoi An is the next place.

Choosing the ancient city of Hoi An for this show is not just an optimistic and beautiful spirit. The two designers said: 2022 is also the National Year of Tourism – Quang Nam with the theme “Quang Nam – Green tourist destinationThis show promises to be an interesting work of art, contributing to spreading the spirit of joy and beauty of Hoi An and promoting the image of this country to international people and friends.

To prepare for the show in the ancient city of Hoi An, the two designers and team spent a lot of time surveying and researching the location.

This designer duo always combines and conveys positive messages about life through each of their clothes.

Although not much has been revealed about the concept of the new show, the two designers said they will work hard to bring the voyeuristic fashion tour to Vietnam’s fashion village.

The designs presented in the “Peaceful Sky” exhibition will remain optimistic creations related to the two designers’ brands. Attractive materials such as organza and new silk are blended in a vibrant color palette.

The first major motif that was revealed was the confetti pattern – a hallmark of the ancient city of Hoi An. Fuchsia pink color is also used as a dress code event.

Designer Dinh Truong Tung shared: Talking about Hoi An talks about the fresh sunshine on the ancient yellow walls, rows of bright pink confetti on street corners, and fruits reminiscent of the peaceful rhythm of life. This is also the main inspiration for the collection that we will present at the Resort 2022 event this time.”
