Several witnesses said that around 3 am on the same day, many people saw smoke and fire coming out of the shop selling bicycles and trams, so they screamed.
Many people holding fire extinguishers rushed to put out the fire, staff at the restaurant opposite also pulled fire hoses to help put out the fire. However, inside were flammable items, the fire quickly blazed, covering the entire shop.
Receiving the news, the Binh Tan District Police Protection and Rescue Team deployed a large number of fire engines and dozens of officers and soldiers were present at the scene, deploying firefighting work.
