In addition, Tho simulated 12 sets of loan documents from 9 customers, then asked the bank to transfer the loan money to a jointly owned account that had previously been simulated for withdrawal and corresponded to VND 88.3 billion.

Of the VND 91.3 billion allocated, Tho gave Vi (his cousin Tho’s wife) more than VND 77.6 billion to make a capital contribution to the business; and Vi used nearly 12.5 billion VND to buy houses and cars; about 1.2 billion VND for personal use.
