TREATMENT SITUATION

1. Number of recovered patients:

– Patients declared cured on the same day: 95,538 cases

– Number of recovered cases: 3,163,571 cases

2. The number of serious patients treated was 4,107 cases, including:

– Breathing oxygen through a mask: 3,243 cases

– HFNC high flow oxygen: 427 cases

– Non-invasive mechanical ventilation: 117 cases

– Invasive mechanical ventilation: 316 cases

– ECMO: 4 shifts

3. Number of patients who died:

– From 17:30 on March 12 to 17:30 on March 13, 95 deaths were recorded in:

+ In the city. Ho Chi Minh (2) where 1 case was transferred from Long An.

– The total number of deaths ranked 24/225 regions, the number of deaths per 1 million people ranked 128/225 countries and regions in the world. Compared to Asia, the number of deaths ranks 6/49 (3 in ASEAN), deaths per 1 million people ranks 23/49 for Asian countries and regions (4th in ASEAN).

TESTING SITUATION:

The number of tests since April 27, 2021 until now, has tested 35,584,903 samples or the equivalent of 81,481,599 rounds of people, an increase of 226,828 samples compared to the previous day.

IMPORT SITUATION:

As of March 12, 215,529 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered. So, the total number of vaccine doses given is 200,179,247 doses, there:

+ The number of injections for people aged 18 years and over is 183,133,205 doses: the first dose is 70,911,338 doses; The second dose was 67,810,841 doses; The third dose was 1,493,137 doses; The additional dose was 14,459,451 doses; The booster dose was 28,458,438 doses.

+ The number of doses for children aged 12-17 years is 17,046,042 doses: the first dose is 8,748,687 doses; The second dose was 8,297,355 doses.

1. Information about new infections:

– From 16:00 on March 12 to 16:00 on March 13, 166,968 new infections were recorded in the National System for Handling COVID-19 Cases, of which 15 were imported and 166,953 cases recorded in the country (a decrease of 1,751 cases compared to the previous day) in 62 provinces and cities (with 100,536 cases in the community).

– Average number of new infections in the country recorded in the last 7 days: 162,819 cases/day.

2. The situation of the COVID-19 epidemic in Vietnam:

– Since the start of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 6,112,648 infections, ranking 20/225 countries and regions, while with an infection ratio/1 million people, Vietnam ranked 130/225 countries and regions (with an average of 61,879 cases for every 1 million people) .

– 4th Epidemic (from 27 April 2021 to present):
