Worried it’s not sterile yet, the spirit of showing off victory after finishing work

For men, when they decide to undergo sterilization with their wives to prevent pregnancy, the problem they are most worried about is usually whether there will be complications, after sterilization is there a risk of becoming a “eunuch”? Master, Doctor Ta Viet Cuong – Deputy Director of Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital (Base 2) said that with today’s modern techniques and methods, people can be completely sure of their health after sterilization.

“Many cases when they enter the operating room, even after being sterilized, they are still worried, let alone afraid of being ‘paralyzed’ and unable to have sex. However, after a few months of application, she called the doctor again to thank her because she didn’t think “sterilization” was so beautiful.

Doctor Cuong said that sterilization does not eliminate a man’s “brain”.

One patient even said, before sterilization, sex only took a few minutes to stop to ejaculate out. And when he uses a condom, he feels uncomfortable and not “honest”.

“After the sterilization was completed, the patient followed the doctor’s instructions to perform a semen analysis 3 times. As a result, there were no more sperm in the semen, since then, the couple’s “sex” has been sublimated. From emotions, feelings to pleasure, everything is good, relationship time is also very long,” said Dr. Cuong.

According to dr. Cuong, sterilization makes couples think at ease, does not worry about pregnancy, so that it is easier to sublimate during sex. “This story also clears doubts about the fear of becoming a “eunuch” after sterilization, says Dr. Cuong.

Male sterilization still has certain limitations

Dr Cuong said, to date, no contraceptive method is 100% perfect. Even with the male sterilization method, although it solves many problems, it still has certain limitations.

“Sterilization in men is when the doctor cuts the vas deferens, so that during intercourse the sperm cannot be expelled and the egg cannot be fertilized. But the limitation of this method is that if a man wants to have more children, he must seek assisted reproductive methods or a vasectomy.

Because in reality, someone hypothesized: My husband and I must have lived together our whole lives. Maybe it’s like this now, but what about tomorrow, marry someone else and want to have children with that person? That’s the limitation of the male sterilization method,” said dr.

Peace of mind about health after surgery

In addition to the above limitations, when carrying out sterilization, “gentlemen” must be reassured about health issues. According to Dr. Cuong, every month the facility where he works carries out 20-30 cases of male sterilization, most people study and consult carefully before making a decision.

“Actually, when people first enter the operating room, people are still a little afraid, but when they receive spinal anesthesia, the operation can still talk to the doctor, most people will feel more comfortable,” said dr. Dr. Cuong share.

With current sterilization techniques, when performed, the doctor only makes an incision about 2 cm under the skin of the scrotum and cuts the vas deferens. With a small incision, the patient can be discharged after 3 hours. After sterilization is complete, the patient treats the wound as in other parts for approximately 1 week, which is normal.

“The special thing to note is that after sterilization, you still have to use contraception for 20-30 times after ejaculation. Because of the remaining sperm count, if there is no contraception, the risk of pregnancy is very possible. After 20-30 ejaculations, it is necessary to do a semen analysis to make sure the sperm is gone,” said Dr. Cuong.
