On March 14, McLaren Automotive announced the expansion of its business plans in the Asia-Pacific region by appointing S&S Automotive as the first importer and distributor in Vietnam. This is the 41st country where the British supercar company has set foot.

The first genuine McLaren showroom in Vietnam is located in the Deutsches Haus building, number 33 Le Duan, Ben Nghe ward, district 1, Ho Chi Minh City, starting operations from the second quarter of 2022. The company plans to distribute the McLaren GT, the Supercar Series product line with 720S Coupe, 720S Spider, 765LT Coupe, 765LT Spider, Artura high-performance hybrid cars, as well as special products in the Ultimate Series line such as the McLaren Elva.
In October 2021, S&S Automotive and McLaren Automotive created a series of photos in Vietnam in a global image promotion campaign for the McLaren Elva Gulf. This model also had an intimate meeting with Mr. Pham Tran Nhat Minh. The plastics industry giant is also rumored to have signed a contract to buy Elva for VND 143 billion.
Along with Lamborghini and Ferrari, McLaren is a very popular supercar brand in Vietnam since 2015 thanks to its exquisite design, luxuriously comfortable interior and impressive driving experience. Various types of McLaren supercars launched in Vietnam: 570S, 650S, 720S, 765LT, GT or even Senna, limited to 500 units worldwide.
