Driver Huy was the one who jumped out of the truck cab to let the truck run free, causing the crane on the truck to fall causing death.
The victim was Tran Quoc Tuan (72 years old, domiciled in Dusun Hop Thuan).
On the morning of March 13, truck 14C-077.83 carrying an excavator in the back but without a driver rushed off the commune road to bypass Highway 48A (in the commune area of Dong Hop).

Some residents found that the driverless car rushed towards it and managed to escape.
The car passed Highway 48A, sped onto the sidewalk and crashed in front of the stall of a house selling animal feed. The collision caused the excavator in the back of the truck to overturn and hit Tuan Tuan who was stopping his motorbike on the sidewalk, unable to escape.
The accident caused Tuan Tuan to die on the spot, the motorcycle and the excavator were badly damaged.

According to Mr. Vu Ngoc Lam – Chairman of the Dong Hop Commune People’s Committee, Huy’s driver admitted that because the truck lost its brakes, causing Huy to lose control, he jumped out of the cabin before the accident.
