Germany decided to buy the US ‘thunder god’ fighter
According to a source from the German government, they have decided to replace the aging Tornado fighters with advanced stealth aircraft F-35.
RT news agency, citing German media sources today (March 14), said that Berlin plans to buy 35 US-made aircraft and 15 Eurofighter Typhoon fighters. Because the country’s military needs modern aircraft to carry the US nuclear bombs that are located in Germany, in case a conflict breaks out.

Meanwhile, the German news agency DPA reported that the German government initially wanted to buy F/A-18 Hornet multirole fighter jets. But the plan had to be abandoned, because the F/A-18 had not been tested for its ability to carry nuclear weapons.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced late last month that he would increase the defense budget by 100 billion euros. At the same time, Mr. Scholz also revealed that the country could buy F-35 aircraft to replace the old Tornado fighters.
According to RT news agency, the announcement to buy F-35 fighters was made by the German government in the context of the tense war between Russia and Ukraine showing no signs of cooling down.
