Knet strongly criticized Twenty Five, Twenty One for portraying school-age love, Vietnamese netizens replied “where is that offensive?”

In the latest development of Twenty-Five, Twenty-One, Baek Yijin (Nam Joo Hyuk) and Hee Doo (Kim Tae Ri) have officially confessed to each other. Throughout 2 episodes (9 and 10), the couple “crying, spreading sugar” made viewers’ hearts flutter at the sweet moment. However, there were no overly intimate gestures between the two, there were no kissing scenes, and everything stopped at one another’s words and glances.

The couple also had an unforgettable experience with a group of friends

After the last two episodes aired, when Vietnamese viewers took advantage of the main couple’s romantic moments, some Korean netizens expressed their discomfort and anger. In particular, a part of the Korean audience has expressed concern and criticism about the publicity of films about romantic relationships between adults and minors. In the drama, Nam Joo Hyuk plays a 23-year-old man while Kim Tae Ri plays a 19-year-old high school student (in Vietnamese, 22 and 18).

Comments from Korean viewers:

-The production team should reconsider this scene because it affects young people a lot

– I feel uncomfortable when the film depicts a love scene between a minor who is still wearing a school uniform and an adult

– Why couldn’t the scriptwriter wait until Kim Tae Ri’s character graduated to let the two express their feelings?

-It’s not that I’m difficult but this is too romantic of a minor’s love

– I’m a big fan of this drama but now I’m disappointed because radio dramas spread the news about teenage love

Actually, love between students and adults (the age difference isn’t much) isn’t a new topic, but Twenty-Five, Twenty-One had to face a strong reaction from the Korean audience. Faced with this information, the Vietnamese audience was dissatisfied with the crew, especially when there were no intimate scenes between the main couple. Even the affection between them is very pure, becoming the foundation to grow together and live more meaningfully.
