Apple’s standard iPhone 14 models slated for release in the fall may not get one of their most important features.

According to Macrumorsanalyst Ming-Chi Kuo has just revealed the latest information related to Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 models.

Accordingly, there will only be samples iPhone 14 Pro new chip is equipped with the A16 chip, while the standard iPhone 14 models will use the A15 Bionic chip from the iPhone 13. This information was revealed by Mr. Kuo in a recent tweet.

Four iPhone 14 models will be released in 2022 including iPhone 14 (6.1 inch), iPhone 14 Max (6.7 inch), iPhone 14 Pro (6.1 inch), and iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7 inch).

The two more affordable iPhone 14 models than the iPhone 14 (6.1-inch), iPhone 14 Max (6.7-inch) will use the old chip of the iPhone 13. This could be the difference between the “Pro” and standard models.

Kuo added that all four ‌iPhone 14‌ models will likely have 6GB of RAM. However, the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ models have LPDDR 5 RAM, while the standard ‌iPhone 14‌ models will use 4X LPDDR RAM only.

Currently, the ‌iPhone 13‌ mini and ‌iPhone 13‌ have 4GB of RAM, while the iPhone 13 Pro and ‌iPhone 13 Pro‌ Max are equipped with 6GB of RAM.

According to Mr. Kuo, though all models iPhone 14″ will have 6GB of RAM, but the LPDDR 5 memory of the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ and ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max will be up to one and a half times faster and up to 30% more energy efficient.

Mr. Kuo’s revelation does not coincide with news from expert Jeff Pu, who thinks that the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ models will have 8GB of RAM, about the same as the Samsung Galaxy S22 models. However, the information leaked from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is often more accurate than Jeff Pu.
