According to Kong Chro District Police, on the evening of March 9, Dao Ngoc Thanh (31 years old, living in Po To commune, Ia Pa district, Gia Lai) was driving to village 9, Yang Trung commune, when he found the traffic inspector had to park the car on the right side of the road, to help the car, Tran Van Thang (29 years old) handed over the documents to the inspection officer.
After checking, it turned out that Thanh’s car was about to start, when the motorbike was in the same direction, there were 3 people in the car who hit the back, causing the 3 people to die.
A traffic inspector from the Gia Lai Transport Department confirmed that there were 3 inspectors on duty at the time. After patrolling, making records of road corridor violations, the traffic inspection team arrived at Yang Trung commune (Kong Chro district), so it was already dark, so they pulled over to the side of the road and opened the lunch box.
“The driver (Dao Ngoc Thanh – PV) passed the traffic inspector and stopped. After checking and returning the papers, there was that problem,” said the traffic inspector.
Also according to this leader, after the incident occurred, the Kong Chro district police investigation agency and the district People’s Procuratorate invited the team inspector that day to work and they made an explanation. “We confirm that our inspection force did nothing wrong,” the leader said.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Kong Chro District People’s Committee said: “In this case, the district police are still in the process of investigating and determining the cause. Right or wrong, come here, the authorities will have a conclusion.”
