Married for 9 years, it’s my first time getting go to mom’s house played for so long. Because now my husband and I live separately, my husband works abroad. I am currently at home taking care of 2 small children, so I have a lot of free time.
This time, I plan to return to my hometown to play for 3 months to reduce my mother’s nostalgia. But I’ve only been alive for a month and I have a lot of problems.
Mother lives with his brother and wife, he works far away. The first few days when I returned to playing, my brother-in-law also gave me fish cooked with bananas or boiled anchovies every day. Then I gave him 3 million to buy food for a month. Since then, sometimes in our meals we have an extra plate of meat.
But the closer to the end of the month, the more miserable the rice trays. There was food that ran out of food, so the children had to eat rice with fish sauce to fill their stomachs.
I have been back for a month, but my mother and sister-in-law are still sitting in the kitchen eating rice, it makes me think a lot. Many times I told him yes Quarantine period is over, the whole family can eat together to have fun. But no matter how he puts it, his brother-in-law will not accept it, let’s just say he is used to eating downstairs.
Last night while eating rice, there was a shortage of fish sauce, so I went to the kitchen to get it. Accidentally saw in the brother-in-law’s soup pot full of meat. However, my bowl of soup with my mother and grandson was just full of vegetables. By the way, I opened the pot on the stove, it was delicious boiled meat.
I was very angry with him but remained silent and didn’t say a word. When I returned to the rice tray, I whispered what I had just seen to my mother. Mom says she is still the same, if she has good food, she will eat it in kitchen, and if it is bad, she will feed her mother in law. He told me to ignore it and live, if I make it worse, I am afraid the one who will suffer is mother. Because when he was old, only his sister was by his side to serve his mother.
