Singer Tran Thu Ha: I received the song when musician Tran Tien was not feeling well, was still undergoing treatment, and at that time I could not say what would happen. I received the song that the son is far from home in the special situation of 2020, which is the Covid-19 epidemic that makes moving back to Vietnam extremely difficult. While Tien’s father is ill, I am not sure when I will be able to get a place to return to my hometown, a state of confusion and anxiety. Now I can tell you about that moment, but a few months ago I couldn’t, because it was also the wish of the family, wanting peace for the patient, the person taking care of the patient.

I was very touched to receive the work “Don’t give up” because I understand how a person is fighting with an illness, it is physically exhausting, but the musician continues to choose to relieve himself by creativity, by his dedication to the work. to share with the public, with life.

I can feel how much effort Tien’s father put into the work, to forget the pain and inconvenience of the body through the treatment process; hold an ipad to write music, self-produce and self-record. No matter how good or bad the song is, it is a priceless gift that the musician gives to his life, to his fans and an invaluable asset that the musician leaves to his family. Musician Tran Tien: Yes, I write music to teach myself. My songs about love, about dreams, about beauty are my dreams, not mine. Remember because every artist in this world is like that. When I was lying down, trying to get up to be human, I wrote “Do not fall”.

I write to remind myself, but do you know that until now my own lessons have taught me because many times I also want to… fall. Here, in my pocket, that song is always there.
