Specifically, considering the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on reopening tourism activities to ensure safety and efficiency in the new normal, in Document No. 1576/VPCP-KGVX, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam assigned the Ministry of Health to urgently amend regulations and requirements for tourists on entry to suit the new situation in accordance with the guidance in Resolution No. 25.

The Ministry of Health needs to send documents to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism before March 15 to summarize, complete and announce according to its competence – Deputy Thu Tuong stated.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for reporting to the Prime Minister on the resumption of entry for foreigners entering Vietnam, ensuring the request to reopen tourism activities from March 15; to step up negotiations and mutual recognition of vaccine passports with other countries.
