If an employee dies or goes missing while working abroad, the employee’s identity will be backed by 40 million VND.
In addition, workers who return home early for the above reasons will also be supported by a vocational training fund of 1 million VND/month, for up to 6 months.
To get support, the employee or employee authorized by the employee can make a file and send it online, directly through a company, organization or individual, then send it to the Implementing Agency for the Employment Assistance Fund working abroad (Ministry of Manpower, Persons with Disabilities and Social). Within 15 working days from the date of receipt of complete documents, the fund will provide support at the request of the employee.
