Confirming with VietNamNet, a representative of the Traffic Police – Order Team, Cau Giay District Police said that the above accident happened at the beginning of lane 106 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Nghia Tan Ward, Cau Giay District. around 4pm this afternoon (March 15).

“The SUV showed signs of wrong gas pedal, crashed into 2 motorbikes and dragged about 5 meters on the road, causing 2 people including 1 male and 1 female to be injured in software. We were present and brought 2 victims to the hospital. institute”, representative of Traffic Police – Order District Cau Giay said.

This is probably the first accident on the streets of Vietnam involving driving an electric car.

Model X is considered the world’s first mass-produced electric SUV with a bird-wing opening rear door, allowing passengers to easily enter the 2nd and 3rd rows of the vehicle. The model also has Autopilot with standard radar-based AEB and an ultrasonic ground-collision system.

The most advanced Model X P100D version is equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of up to 100 kWh, enough to supply the electric motors in both front and rear axles with energy to travel a maximum distance of more than 500 km. This SUV has impressive acceleration, from 0-100 km / h in just 2.6 seconds.

Over the years, Tesla Model X returned to Vietnam via private import. Model X model version P100D in Vietnam so far only has the quantity of less than 10 units with the rolling price is said to be around 9 billion VND.
