On the afternoon of March 14, the People’s Committee of Con Dao district (Ba Ria-Vung Tau province) issued a document on organizing for junior high and high school students in the district. go to school directly back from 15/3.

According to the document, after 21 days of converting from face-to-face teaching to online teaching at preschools and high schools in the district, from February 22 to now, the number of SARS-CoV-2 infections in Students and teachers have decreased significantly, the number of F0 cases recovered from the disease has increased, and there have been no serious changes requiring medical intervention.

In order to ensure the knowledge for students to prepare for the final examination and assessment of the second semester of the school year 2021-2022, especially for grade 12 students preparing to review knowledge for the National High School Graduation Exam this year. In 2022, the People’s Committee of Con Dao district directs the middle and high schools in the district to organize a general cleaning of schools and classes to welcome students back to school directly from March 15. For Kindergarten and Primary School, continue to teach Online Learning until further notice.

To ensure safety in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic when students return to school, the People’s Committee of Con Dao district requires schools to review and purchase additional antiseptic water, body temperature monitors, and medical masks; organize the implementation of the Handbook to ensure safety for the prevention and control of COVID-19 in schools.

Schools have not organized eating and drinking activities at the canteen in the first week of face-to-face resuming, arranging a reasonable schedule, in which the morning starts at 7:30 a.m., and the afternoon begins at 2 p.m. Teaching and studying in the morning must not exceed 4 hours, in the afternoon no more than 3 hours; 12th grade alone, no more than 8 periods/day.

Every day, schools summarize and quickly report the number of students coming to school; the number of students and teachers infected with SARS-CoV-2 before 16:00 to summarize and report to the District Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control and the Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

From 6 p.m. on March 13 to 6 p.m. on March 14, Con Dao district recorded 28 cases of COVID-19, of which 7 were isolated at home, 21 were infected in the community.
