International tourism activities (inbound and outbound) comply with regulations on immigration, health and related regulations of Vietnam and other countries and territories, via air, land, sea , the railway ensures safety, in accordance with regulations on prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic, applicable to all types of tourists, especially all international tourist markets that meet the following conditions: immigration and medical safety matters can all come to Vietnam.

“Domestic visitors comply with the spirit of Resolution 128 of the Government, the guiding document of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which does not restrict any tourism activities. Localities proactively announce plans to welcome guests according to the level of the epidemic,” Khanh said.

Particularly for international guests, Mr. Khanh said that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism works hard to try to have the final solution to create maximum conditions for international visitors. The tourism industry will continue to try to take measures and solutions, creating maximum favorable conditions for tourists. However, up to this point, the Ministry is still waiting for the latest guidance from the Ministry of Health.

As such, conditions for international visitors still have to wait for an updated opinion from the Ministry of Health. It is known that the Ministry of Health has written to consult the National Steering Committee on disease prevention.

Leaders of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said that in the coming time, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will assume the prime responsibility and continue to coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to ensure the safety of tourism activities and create favorable conditions for import and export. landscape, efficiency of airline connections and improvement of product quality and competitiveness of Vietnamese destinations in order to exceed the target of attracting over 5 million international arrivals, 60 million domestic arrivals, total revenue from tourism will reach about 400,000 billion VND in 2022.
