The man from Poland has the ability to withstand freezing temperatures, he has the ability to play in very cold weather that can cause the average person to freeze.

In the presence of everyone, on the street of Wilno, Wilenski, Lithuania, Mr. Valerjan Romanovski set a world record for the longest time full body contact with cold ice, 3 hours 28 seconds.

He soaked himself in a large glass box filled with ice, filling his body with only his head. People outside will regularly check his body temperature with an ear thermometer. If the temperature drops severely, they will remove him from the box immediately.

To conquer this period, Valerjan Romanovski spent 6 months training hard. Every day, he only takes cold showers, soaks in ice and ice water, plays and works outside when the temperature drops to freezing.

Valerjan Romanovski said: “I had to endure the cold for several years. Six months before I set the record, I decided to try this record. I approach the sport in a scientific way, plus believe. that our body and mind potential is much stronger than we think. Exercising the mind and body is my great passion.”

Valerjan Romanovski is also an excellent cyclist and he once set the world record for the longest distance cycling in 12 hours for men with a time of 314.65 km.

With the challenge of soaking in ice this time, the hardest part for Valerjan is the psychological preparation. “The hardest part for me was mentally preparing for this record, having to always believe that I can do it,” Valerjan Romanovski said.

The previous record was held by Frenchman Romain Vandendorpe, with a time of 2 hours 35 minutes 33 seconds.

Once completed, Valerjan Romanovski was taken out of the box, wrapped in a warm blanket and sleeping bag. His recovery did not take long. “For me, the Guinness World Records certification is a difference. It’s a sign that I’ve become proficient in a certain field,” says Valerjan Romanovski.
