According to the Ministry of Health, from 4:00 p.m. on March 13 to 4:00 p.m. on March 14, on the National Case Management System COVID-19 recorded 161,262 new infections in 61 provinces and cities (113,084 cases in the community).

There are 41 provinces and cities recording COVID-19 cases ranging from 1,000-nearly 30,000 cases/day, of which the 5 localities with the highest number of cases are: Hanoi (29,833), Nghe An (10,389), Bac Ninh (7,471) ), Phu Tho (6,997) and Thai Nguyen (4,979).

Regarding the number of new cases, March 14 is the 7th day that the number of new cases has leveled off at over 160,000 cases.

Hanoi, the locality with the highest number of new cases in the country for more than 2 months now, has gradually decreased in recent days and has dropped below the milestone of 30,000 new cases/day.

Also according to a report by the Hanoi Department of Health, by the end of March 13, Hanoi had 536,826 cases under treatment and monitoring (a decrease of more than 18,000 cases compared to March 12). The number of mild, asymptomatic patients who do not need to be hospitalized will be treated with peace of mind and monitored at home.
