The Government has just issued Resolution No. 32/NQ-CP dated March 15, 2022 on visa exemption for citizens of other countries.

Specifically, the Government decided to exempt visas for citizens of the following countries: the Federal Republic of Germany, the French Republic, the Italian Republic, the Kingdom of Spain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Russian Federation, and Japan. Japan, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Finland and Republic of Belarus upon entering Vietnam with a temporary stay period of 15 days from the date of entry, regardless of entry date. distinguish the type of passport, the purpose of entry, on the basis of satisfying all the conditions as prescribed by the law of Vietnam.

The policy of visa-free entry to Vietnam for citizens of the above countries is implemented for a period of 3 years, from March 15 to the end of March 14, 2025 and will be considered for extension according to regulations. of Vietnamese law.

This Resolution takes effect from March 15 and replaces Resolutions 21, 23, 29 and 33 of the Government on suspending the unilateral visa exemption policy for countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall review, evaluate and recommend to the Government the extension, suspension or termination of the unilateral visa exemption policy specified in this Resolution.
