Three years ago, Mr. Thuan went to Can Tho city, when he returned, he lost his way. When passing by a flower garden in Binh Thuy district, Mr. Thuan was “fascinated” by the beautiful golden-blossom tree. Although passing a section, Mr. Thuan still turned the car to meet the owner of the garden to ask about the strange flower variety.

“The owner of the garden said it was a red-legged yellow flower. I liked it so much I decided to buy two flowers to plant. The flowering tree at the foot has a sweet red color like lipstick, so I named it vermilion flower. After that, many people also called this flower variety “golden moon flower”, Thuan said and said, since then, the name “golden moon flower” has been called by everyone until now.

The beautiful vermilion flower has a brilliant yellow color, and the base of the flower is red as sweet as the color of lipstick.

Mr. Thuan said that the owner of the garden in Can Tho City revealed that the origin of the yellow-flowered geranium tree was due to a mutation from the small-leaved red-leaf geranium plant.

From the first two flowering plants, Mr. Thuan propagated dozens of seedlings.

“Currently, all the yellow flowers on the market are derived from two of my trees,” Mr. Thuan affirmed and said that the yellow-flowered flowers have a high value in the flower market.
