Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee and FPT cooperate in digital transformation in the period of 2022 – 2025

The agreement is aimed at some big goals such as promoting digital conversion comprehensively and comprehensively from State agencies, to people and businesses about ways of living, working, production and consumption methods based on digital technology; perfecting e-government towards digital government, comprehensive digital transformation, making Dak Lak province soon become one of the leading provinces in the country in digital transformation with three pillars: Digital government – Digital economy – Digital society.

Sharing at the event, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha – Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee said that the province hopes that after this signing, the two sides will soon come up with specific action plans and programs to come to the meeting. In 2023, Dak Lak can see big changes in IT application in the province’s socio-economic development. And by the end of 2025, Dak Lak will be one of the localities ranked on the digital transformation map of 63 provinces and cities.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Truong Gia Binh – FPT Chairman affirmed that FPT will devote the best resources to help Dak Lak province successfully implement digital transformation. After the signing ceremony, the two sides will shake hands to establish working groups to carry out key tasks. According to Mr. Binh, the most important digital transformation is to start with awareness, so the first thing the two sides will do right after the signing ceremony is to deploy a series of training programs to change awareness and apply digital transformation. for all levels of government, people and businesses.

According to the content of the agreement, the two sides will focus their resources on implementing a number of key tasks such as assisting the province in reviewing, formulating and concretizing action programs, tasks and projects in accordance with the Resolution. Digital transformation of Dak Lak province in the fields of digital infrastructure, digital government, development of digital applications for people/businesses of Dak Lak as well as priority areas. Based on capacity and strengths, FPT will propose to pilot FPT’s solutions in these areas.

At the same time, FPT will also support Dak Lak province in developing and reviewing action plans related to smart cities and piloting smart cities using a comprehensive solution that integrates digital and digital infrastructure. FPT’s digital solutions in a city/town/district in Dak Lak province are consistent with the province’s practice and the resources of both sides.

For businesses and households, FPT will plan to organize programs to promote Dak Lak’s products nationwide through the Sendo e-commerce platform and deploy a support package for provincial businesses. Dak Lak in consulting on digital transformation and deploying digital transformation applications.

The two sides will also coordinate to implement short-term training programs to raise awareness about digital transformation as well as intensive courses on digital skills, using digital transformation products (software, platforms, etc.) digital technology…), methodologies for implementing digital transformation for leaders, civil servants, public employees, businesses/business households/people in the province.

In 2021, Dak Lak is the first province in the country to evaluate the digital transformation index of the agencies and the State in the province (Decision 2425/QD-UBND dated September 1, 2021 on the set of conversion assessment indicators). number of Dak Lak provinces). As a result, the departmental digital transformation index has an average score of 114.98 points; district level has an average score of 146.34 points. The set of indicators creates conditions for departments, agencies, branches and People’s Committees of districts, towns and cities to monitor the index and component criteria for digital transformation of agencies and units; develop programs and plans to improve the quality and efficiency of digital transformation in accordance with the general requirements of the province.

According to the Digital Transformation Plan for the 2021 – 2025 period, Dak Lak province sets the target: by 2025, the province’s digital transformation index will be in the group of 20/63 provinces and cities; the proportion of the digital economy in each industry or field shall reach at least 10%; fiber optic broadband network infrastructure covers over 90% of households and 100% of communes; the percentage of population with electronic payment accounts is over 50%; Dak Lak belongs to the group of provinces ranked A in terms of network safety and security according to the assessment of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
