International visitors entering Vietnam only need to test negative for Covid-19 and do not need to be isolated

Regarding testing, for immigrant By air: must have negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 (except for children under 2 years old) 72 hours before departure, if PCR test or 24 hours if rapid test, approved by competent authority. authority of the country conducting the certification test.

For people entering by other routes (land, waterway, railway), must have negative test as above.

If the guest has not had a negative test result, a rapid test must be performed within the first 24 hours (by PCR or rapid test) from the time of entry. If the result is negative, guests are allowed to leave the property, if positive, they must immediately report to the local health authority for instructions on timely handling.

International visitors entering Vietnam do not need to be quarantined

According to the new regulations, children under the age of 2 who are not required to be tested are allowed to enter and participate in activities outside their accommodation with their parents and relatives.

With the medical declaration and medical quarantine at the border, entry must be done before entry and use the medical declaration application (PC-COVID) during their stay in Vietnam.

During 10 days from the date of entry, guests self-monitor their health, if there are symptoms of infection, they need to declare it for guidance and timely management.

For those who have not had a negative test result before leaving the country: during the process of moving from the entry border to the place of residence, stop and park along the way; Avoid close contact with people around.
