Around 4 pm on March 16, the vehicle load inspection team Team 3, Traffic Police Department signaled to stop the truck with license plate number 88C-098.XX traveling on Phap Van – Cau Gie – Ninh Binh highway to check check.

Driver Nguyen Van H., as soon as he stopped the vehicle, admitted to being overloaded and asked the working group to ignore the violation. When unsuccessfully asking the authorities, the driver did not put the car on the scale.

The results showed that cars with license plates of Vinh Phuc province carried an overload of 1.2 tons (17.81%).

However, driver H. continued to loudly disapprove of the load test results.

“My car is not overloaded, this is a product from the exporting company that is overloaded within the allowed limit of 9%. And the machine measured more than 17% just because the car body is too heavy”, said driver H. loudly.

Driver H. refused to sign the minutes of administrative violations and left the car to sit.

Captain Dinh Van Son, Vice Captain of Team 3 explained to driver H. that the act of carrying an overloaded load would be dangerous to the driver and other road users. At the same time, causing damage to the bridge. With this violation, driver H. will be fined 4 million VND.

But nearly 2 hours later, driver H. still refused to sign the record, at the same time did not drive the car out of the weighing station and did not receive the vehicle documents (including vehicle registration, registration, vehicle insurance).

Only when Team 3 informed the police force of Lien Ninh commune (Thanh Tri district, Hanoi) about the case of deliberately obstructing the functional force from checking the vehicle’s load and asking the rescue force to come to the crane to pull the vehicle out. from the weighing station, driver H. just obeyed.

Driver H. burst into tears and shared with the working group that he was aware of his violation.

Only from March 9 until now), Team 1 has handled 122 overloaded vehicles, stripped of driver’s licenses in 38 cases, stripped of 50 transport badges of violating drivers.
