MC Minh Xu and runner-up Ha Thu. “Bao De” is the return work of director Le Van Kiet, who once created one of the highest-grossing Vietnamese films of all time “Hai Phuong”. Choosing the horror genre, director Le Van Kiet was inspired by his own sleep paralysis experience and wanted to tell a compelling story imbued with Vietnamese culture through the film.
