Long Thanh international airport project is built on an area of 5,000 hectares, is an airport of 4F level, with a designed capacity of 100 million passengers and 5 million tons of cargo per year after completing three phases in 2014. 2050. To build Long Thanh airport, Dong Nai province must acquire land from 5,283 households and 26 agencies and organizations in 6 communes of Long Thanh district including Binh Son, Suoi Trau, Cam Duong, Bau Can, Long An and Long Phuoc .
Phase 1 of the project with an area of 1,800ha has been started since January 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2025.
