Two cadastral officers in Quang Nam took advantage of their positions to make up false records of land allocation to people without real names in the locality.

According to the investigation results, in 2017, Mr. Phu, former Head of the Construction Cadastral Committee (People’s Committee of Tam My Dong Commune, Nui Thanh District), and Le Anh Von, a contract employee of the Cadastral Construction Department of this commune, abusing positions and powers to make false records of land allocation to people without real names in the locality.

Along with that, these two people advised relevant agencies to issue land use right certificates in contravention of regulations. The People’s Committee of Nui Thanh district has revoked the above-mentioned wrongly issued land use right certificate.

Currently, the authorities are continuing to clarify the case to handle according to regulations.
