However, on the way to Da Nang, when coming to Bac Hai Van toll station in Lang Co town, Phu Loc district, the competent force stopped the car and brought it to the office. Immediately after that, the subjects were handed over to Hue City Police to continue investigating and handling according to their competence.

At the police headquarters, through the struggle and exploitation, the subjects admitted their violations. The police agency determined that Thai, Vi, Nhat and Ngoc had acts with signs of “illegal arrest” and “intentionally causing injury”.
