Single mother raising a 1-year-old child, traveling 1,500km to Hanoi to make a living
Regarding the case that Ms. Pham Thi Diem Hieu (SN 2000, born in Long An) faced the risk of becoming a vegetative after having plastic surgery in January 2022 at Mr. Hoang Minh Phong’s own house (Tuong Tuong Ward). Mai, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi), on the evening of March 17, the victim’s family sadly said that Ms. Hieu had died.
“After being admitted to Long An hospital on February 25, Hieu just passed away at 11pm last night (March 16-PV),” the victim’s sister said sadly.
According to the victim’s family, the family spent hundreds of millions to treat but Hieu did not survive.
“Our family spent hundreds of millions of dong for surgery but could not save her. The person who caused the incident for Hieu promised to compensate the family for the damage. They are present at our house to offer condolences.”the victim’s sister shared.
Talking about the victim’s situation, Ms. Dao Ngoc Dung (a close friend in the same room as the victim) said that Hieu’s family had a difficult situation. The money for rhinoplasty was saved by Hieu for many months.
Hieu’s hometown in Long An, Hieu has just moved to Hanoi to rent a house and work for about 2 years. “I’ve been with Hieu for a long time, we both confide in each other about everything, so when my friend is like that, I feel very sad.” Ms. Dung said.
According to Ms. Dung, before the incident, Hieu had a husband but was divorced and was raising a nearly 1-year-old child alone.
“Hieu’s family is in a very difficult situation, she is the main laborer in the family because her parents are separated. Hieu has an older sister, but her sister doesn’t do anything, she stays at home to take care of Hieu’s children.
Victims before the incident
Every month, when Hieu goes to work outside of Hanoi, he also has to send money back to pay bank debts and raise children. Ms. Dung confided.
Before that, on January 14, 2022, Pham Thi Diem Hieu went to the cosmetic facility recommended by her friend to lift her nose.
A day later, the victim’s family received information from Bach Mai hospital “Need family members to come and discuss directly, if there are no family members, the hospital will not be responsible for the death of the patient.”
After 2 months of treatment, the victim died.
