This year, the 4th version of these phones will use a tougher display case. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have an S Pen built into the body, just like the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and will feature a new processor – all expected upgrades.

However, according to a fairly reputable source – Dohyun Kim, Samsung also develops two hinged folding screen smartphones. And LetsGoDigital and graphics expert Technizo Concept have created 3D descriptive images of such devices.

Accordingly, this origami phone will fold both vertically and horizontally, which will be slightly larger than the current Galaxy Z Fold 3. If it really uses this design, Samsung will face huge technological challenges.

Samsung is developing a suitable interface for the multi-fold Galaxy Z phones that takes advantage of the unique dual hinge design. With the early development of folding screen technology, the public can expect this “super product” to appear before 2024.

At the CES (Consumer Electronics Fair) exhibition in January 2022, Samsung introduced a lot of phone ideas with a multi-fold design, including Galaxy Fold S. So, the actual commercial launch of a dual-hinge foldable phone might not be far off.
