However, expert Ming-Chi Kuo said that the team Apple Car must be reorganized over the next three to six months to meet Appkle’s goal of mass-producing electric cars by 2025.

The company’s EV plans are said to have suffered multiple setbacks since their inception in 2014 (via MacRumors). Most recently, in November 2021, Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman reported that Apple is accelerating its electric vehicle development towards a fully self-driving electric vehicle. He also said that Apple is aiming for a launch in 2025 but that could be delayed due to the challenges developing the product line.

Kevin Lynch, Apple’s vice president of technology, was supposed to be in charge of the Apple Car project in September 2021.

As reported by DigiTimes Asi, a Foxconn and Luxshare are rumored to be top candidates to produce components for the Apple Car. The two companies are two key manufacturers of Apple products and have entered the electric vehicle market. The joining of these two companies is said to help Apple achieve strong manufacturing capacity at a time when Apple is developing electric cars.

Apple Car rumors have been around for years now. Apple’s Apple Car project is called “Project Titan”. While it’s not expected to launch anytime soon, it looks like the company is finally speeding it up in time for the 2025 deadline. Previously, Bloomberg’s source said that development on the Apple Car is still ongoing. In the early stages, it is not until 2026 that companies can introduce products to the market at the fastest.
