Writing practice is an important subject for students at any level, from elementary school to high school. An essay by an elementary school student caused a storm on social media when asked to describe his father. The text of the assignment is as follows:

“The intellectual worker that I know is my father. My father is an architect, my father is 39 years old. Every day my father designs very beautiful houses, some people even say beautiful houses.

Some people say it’s not beautiful, but my dad doesn’t mind, it’s okay, someone will buy it. My father works fine, and sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays, he only plays with me for two days, and then on Mondays, he goes to work again. I find work fun, but when I grow up, I do other things.”

After listening to the above passage, the father will probably feel a little warm because no matter how much anyone praises and criticizes his product, there is still a son who always believes in him, thinks that “My father designs beautiful houses”. However, the final sentence at the end of the paragraph really makes the father lose sleep and eat: “I find work fun, but when I grow up, I do other things.”

It was this naivety and honesty that made the article spread rapidly on social networks. Instead of finding a sample text and relying on it to write, this student wrote down his thoughts, although it seemed humorous, through which everyone could feel his care and affection for his father.
