Tomorrow (March 18) draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League

Champions League season 2021-2022 has identified 8 teams that won the right to the quarter-finals after the matches took place at dawn this morning. While Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal are the 3 representatives of Spain. The remaining 2 slots belong to Bayern Munich from Germany and Benfica from Portugal.

This is the first time in 6 years that the quarter-finals of the Champions League will be without representatives from Italy. The draw ceremony for the quarter-finals will be held at 18:00 tomorrow (March 18) in Vietnam time.

After the draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, UEFA also conducted a draw for the semi-finals, similarly for the other two tournaments, the Europa League and the Conference League, so the teams participating in this round will also hold Get your potential opponent if you win the right to advance.

Lottery format

The 8 teams participating in this quarter-final will be divided into 4 pairs. The organizers will draw randomly, because in this round, there will be no seeding teams as well as clubs belonging to the same federation that can still face each other.

The first 4 teams drawn from the 4 pairs will play the first leg at home. The same goes for the semi-final draw.

Schedule

The first legs of the quarter-finals will be played on April 6 and 7, and the return legs on April 13 and 14. Meanwhile, the first leg of the semi-finals will be on April 27 and 28, and the return legs will be on May 4 and 5.
