The village with more than 2,700 households living entirely on tourism, during the 2 years of the epidemic, everything was quiet, now the first international visitors have returned to this place. Before the epidemic, this was one of the most international tourist spots in the Netherlands, now the biggest desire of the people is for visitors to continue to visit the village.

The sound is characteristic of the village of Rüdesheim located on the banks of the River Rhein on the outskirts of Germany. When there are tourists, this bell will ring, it is the music that introduces visitors to the famous wine farmers here – they are the pride of the village.

Bertie Boer – Villager Rüdesheim am Rhein, Germany said: “There are times when there are no tourists here, everything is quiet. It was really bad at that time, but now there are many tourists. The calendar is back, we’ve been waiting for this day for a long time, it’s nice to see everyone here.”

The number of visitors has increased, but some restaurants, hotels, cafes, and travel agencies at these tourist destinations have not yet opened due to difficulties in recruiting staff after the epidemic. The tour guides still clinging to the profession have started to get busier.
