Chelsea battle Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals: Tuchel is scared, Real boss is confident

Coach Thomas Tuchel (Chelsea) admitted to being worried when his team had to host Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge in a rather unfavorable situation in the first leg of the upcoming Champions League quarter-final (C1).

2 out of 4 quarterfinals of this year’s Champions League is the competition of the elite representatives of English and Spanish football when Chelsea fight Real Madridand Man City versus Atletico Madrid. The remaining two quarter-final pairs will be Villareal facing Bayern Munich and Benfica facing Liverpool.

Speaking after learning that Chelsea had to clash Real Madrid, especially in the first leg on April 5 at Stamford Bridge, will have no audience, coach Thomas Tuchel has expressed concern. Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is very confident even though his team has to meet Man City in the quarter-finals. “Los Rojiblancos” has just eliminated MU, another representative of Manchester in the 1/8 round.

“We still feel fine,” Cerezo told AS. We just went to Manchester and won. Atletico Madrid will go back there and try to make another great game. Man City have a great manager (Pep Guardiola) and a great squad, but so do we.”
