Death during breast augmentation in Ho Chi Minh City
The victim is a female NTNN (born in 1989, from Dong Thap province), temporarily residing in District 6. Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the victim’s family, Ms. N. previously scheduled breast augmentation surgery with a doctor named NVTh. on March 18 at Hospital 1A. On the same morning, Ms. N.’s sister transferred 40 million VND in advance for breast augmentation costs to Dr. Th. At 11:30, the surgery was carried out.
At about 4 p.m. on the same day, the family suddenly received news that Ms. N. was in critical condition due to low blood pressure and severe respiratory failure. When they arrived, they found the patient’s limbs and skin had turned purple. Although the hospital said that a doctor at Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital had come to the emergency room, the family suspected that the patient had died a few hours ago.
Given that Ms. N.’s death was not clear, until the evening of the same day the victim’s family remained in front of the room where the victim was to ask the hospital for a clear explanation, however, the entire surgical team and the hospital’s board of directors are not present. The most frustrating thing for the family is the fact that even Dr. As the main surgeon, it is not known when the patient died.
As of late March 18, the Tan Binh District Police were still conducting an autopsy and investigating the woman’s death.
