Phu Tho converted nearly 31 hectares of rice land to make an urban area with a scale of VND 4,400 billion
Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has just approved the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee’s decision to change the use purpose of 30.86 hectares of rice land to non-agricultural land to implement the Thanh Minh New Urban Area Project.
Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee directs the implementation of the above-mentioned land use change in accordance with the provisions of the law on land and other relevant laws; take full responsibility before the law and the Prime Minister for the decision on project implementation and the organization of project implementation in accordance with the provisions of the land law; implement the land allocation, land lease, auction of land use rights in accordance with the provisions of the law, implement the project to ensure the right competence, strictly and fully comply with the provisions of the land law as well as the regulations of law on land. provisions of other relevant laws.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shall monitor and guide the implementation of the above land use purpose change in accordance with the provisions of law.
Thanh Minh New Urban Area Project was approved with detailed construction planning at the scale of 1/500 in December 2019 with an area of more than 92 hectares. In which, there are 89.16 hectares located in the boundary of research and design in Thanh Minh commune and a part of Thanh Vinh ward.
Estimated population of the area is about 12,852 people. In which, the adjoining area has 1,700 households with about 6,800 people; villa area for 363 households with about 1,452 people and social housing area for 1,150 households with about 4,600 people.
Regarding the progress, the fourth quarter of 2019 completed the detailed planning. From the fourth quarter of 2019 to the first quarter of 2025, approving the investment policy, implementing the construction investment, completing the project and putting it into operation. The project has a preliminary implementation cost of more than 4,390 billion VND.
In December 2020, the People’s Committee of Phu Tho province issued a decision approving the investor selection plan for the Thanh Minh New Urban Area project, Phu Tho town.
By April 2021, Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee has approved the results of investor selection to implement the project. The winning investor is the Joint Venture Dat Viet Urban Development Investment Joint Stock Company – Song Group Joint Stock Company. Hong Thu Do – Tu Lap Construction Company Limited.
