Several Russian missiles hit a military aircraft repair facility and damaged a bus repair facility, but there were no reports of casualties, Livi Mayor Andriy Sadovyi told the AP news agency. . Mr. Sadovyi said the plane repair facility was down before the attack.

The Russian missiles fired towards Lviv were launched from the Black Sea but two of the six were shot down, the western commander of the Ukrainian air force said on Facebook.

Lviv and its environs, located not far from the Polish border and directly behind the front lines, were also not spared Russian attacks. The worst attack to hit the area left nearly three dozen people dead last weekend. Meanwhile, the population of this city has increased by 200,000 people because many Ukrainians come here from other regions to take shelter.

In Kiev, smoke rose from the western part of the city after being bombarded by Russian forces early in the morning. There are currently no reports of casualties or damage. Other cities in Ukraine are also suffering from Russian attacks.

In the besieged city of Mariupol, southern Ukraine, rescue workers search for survivors among the rubble after a theater, which had been used as a shelter, was blown up by Russia in an attack . However, Russia has denied that theater bombing or anywhere in Mariupol on March 16.

In Merefa, near the northeastern city of Kharkiv, at least 21 people were killed by Russian shelling. In the northern Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, dozens of bodies were brought to the morgue in just one day.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said yesterday that US officials are assessing potential war crimes and that if Russia is found to be intentionally attacking civilians, there will be major consequences for it. The World Health Organization (WHO) said it had clarified 43 attacks on hospitals and medical facilities in Ukraine.

Western sources and Ukrainian officials say Russia’s attacks have leveled off, dampening Kremlin expectations of a quick victory in Ukraine. Russia continues to fire missiles and shells to bring down Ukrainian forces, but has yet to control any of the 10 major cities.

According to a separatist official from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, today Russia has established a no-fly zone above the Donbass region.

Hot developments on the sidelines of the war:

– Japan and Australia have announced separate sanctions against Russian individuals and organizations, including two Russian financiers linked to Australia’s mining industry.

– The United Nations Office for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland, said that 780 civilians in Ukraine were killed, 1,252 were injured. About 3.2 million Ukrainians have been evacuated to neighboring countries of Ukraine.

Video talks between Russian and Ukrainian negotiators have ended for the fourth day in a row, but the Kremlin said the two sides have not been able to come to an agreement.
