Daily Star recently reported on the story of the girl Nine White (21 years old, in county Merseyside, England). Accordingly, the incident at the age of 11 and the shock 2 years later caused Nine to have a serious eating disorder, even walking to the “door of death” when the agencies stopped working.

“When I was about 11 years old, I unfortunately choked quite badly and ever since then, there was a fear in my heart that I would choke or die every time I eat,” the young woman told the Liverpool Echo. .

After a choking incident, at the age of 13, Nine and her family discovered her father was trying to commit suicide. Although her father was saved in time, that incident left a huge obsession in Nine’s mind.

The 21-year-old recalls: “I want to say that the emotional trauma at that time made me feel out of control, helpless because of the thought of almost losing my father at that age. They tried to take me to school counselors, but I couldn’t share the obsession.

I was badly hurt so I decided to keep all my feelings private. Later that year, I started developing an eating disorder, as if that was my way of controlling my life.”

Nine spent the next five years with repeated hospitalizations and discharges, during which she spent a full year in a specialist hospital in Glasgow, nearly 400km from her home. During a hospital stay in March 2017, Nine was asked by doctors to perform a squat as part of a series of tests.

“When I tried to squat with that weight, I fell on my back to the floor. I couldn’t even fulfill the doctor’s orders. They told me that my organs had started to stop working, if I stayed at home and didn’t go to the hospital, I would probably die,” Ninie shared.

The change is so great that many people do not believe the two girls in the two photos are the same person.

She further revealed in a Facebook post in early March: “I have been in and out of the hospital regularly for 5 years, under house arrest in a hospital ward, forced to eat by 8 people. I was so scared of eating, I couldn’t even swallow a sip of water. I always needed two staff members by my side because I was too risky with myself.”

Nine’s journey to recovery began in January 2020, she told herself she wouldn’t have to go back to the hospital again. The young girl tried to change gradually, until about April 2021, she began to feed herself for the first time.

“I ate on my own for the first time in four years. That was terrifying. Even simple things like holding a spoon, holding a fork feel unfamiliar, I haven’t done it for too long, it feels very strange and unnatural,” Nine said.

At the moment, the girl looks extremely healthy and full of life.

Nine’s father passed away in May 2021, which is a great loss but also a driving force for her determination to change for the better, not only because of her father but also because she wants to spend time with her family. In the future, family and friends will always be by my side.
