Specifically, before causing the robbery, Hieu knew Nguyen Bui Hau (born 1984, residing in Hai Phong) through social networks. After talking for a while, Hau helped Hieu forge personal papers for 1.4 million VND with the purpose of renting a car to pledge to spend money.

At noon on March 7, after robbing money at the bank, Hieu returned to Hai Phong and gave 3 million VND to Hau to pay for a taxi and buy new clothes. Next, Hau gave Hieu 50 million dong as a deposit to rent two Honda CRV and Mazda CX5 cars from two different companies.

After renting a car, Hau contacted an online acquaintance to find a place to pledge and fake car registration papers. When all three subjects were at Dong Tru bridge (Dong Anh district, Hanoi) waiting for fake documents, they were arrested by the authorities.

Previously, on March 7, Tung and Hieu prepared a lighter, two knives, and wore gloves, a mask, and a raincoat… to the bank’s transaction office in Xuan Tao ward (Northern district). Tu Liem, Hanoi).

While asking employees to perform transactions, the subjects used lighters and knives to threaten to rob more than 500 million VND.

During the escape, the two subjects dropped more than 300 million VND. After 4 p.m. of the crime, the Bac Tu Liem District Police coordinated with professional units to arrest the above two subjects and seize the evidence of the case.

The case is currently under investigation.
