Quang Linh and her team have very effective ways to help the people of Angola.

Recently, on some programs of VTV, Quang Linh shared about her feelings as well as the journey to become a famous Vlogger like today.

Born in 1997, Quang Linh went to Angola at the age of 18 to work as a builder. His purpose at that time was just to earn money and send it home family.

Living in a new environment, Quang Linh feels strange to many things around her. He came up with the idea of taking pictures in this poor African country as a souvenir. Along with that, he also posts videos on YouTube. The Nghe boy did not expect that his crude footage would be enjoyed by many Vietnamese. That is also the motivation for him to produce more quality and more productive videos.

After working as a builder for a while, Quang Linh collected money to open an ice factory. He began to have local friends, appearing with him in videos.

Two years ago, he returned to poorer and more remote villages in Angola. When being led up the mountain by some friends, Quang Linh felt like he was in Vietnam 40-50 years ago because the scenery was so wild, the people’s houses were only made of clay.

From then on, he made charity trips and gave gifts to people. With the support of the Vietnamese brothers who came here to set up a business, Quang Linh gathered a group to help the people of Angola together.

From giving gifts, Linh’s group began to guide people in their livelihoods such as teaching them to grow vegetables, grow corn, cassava, do agriculture… They also put their own money and mobilized sponsors to contribute money to drill wells and build houses for orphans, making cinemas, making playgrounds for children…

Every day, Quang Linh also regularly introduces and teaches indigenous people to make Vietnamese dishes and introduces Vietnamese culture to them.

Quang Linh spent 40 million VND out of his own pocket to drill wells for people.

Quang Linh and friends said that African people express their joy very clearly. “When we arrived, giving each family a 25kg bag of rice, they danced jubilantly. That surprised me because I have never seen anyone receive a gift with such joy.”

Once, his group was driving into the village to give gifts to relatives when the car broke down in the middle of the road, so they were late. When the Vietnamese people arrived as promised, the people burst into joy. At first, the brothers did not understand why. Later, I learned that people were afraid that they would not come, some even cried on the spot.

Currently, Quang Linh group has 10 people, each person is in charge of helping one village. Initially, it was to provide food support to the people, showing them how to grow crops more productively. After that, the group will help people drill wells, build cultural houses…

During this visit to Vietnam, the team members plan to bring to Angola some rice varieties and plant varieties for trial planting. “Currently, the rice over there is completely imported. If we show people how to grow rice, it will be a great pride” – Quang Linh shared.

In the process of teaching indigenous people how to farm, the group experienced “both smiles and tears”. But all of those feelings are the motivation for the group to work hard to help the people of Angola eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.

Sharing some surprising stories, Quang Linh said that in Angola, people grow maize and cassava but only eat cassava leaves, not tubers. When he introduced it, everyone knew how to eat cassava root and found it delicious.

Or when teaching people to grow vegetables, they don’t even know the hoe. At this time, the group had to go buy and give them the necessary tools for farming.

During the 6 years of working with the people of Angola, Quang Linh said that there are 3 images on the vlog that he finds most impressive, which are: Lindo’s wedding according to Vietnamese customs, building a house of love for 20 orphans. orphans and agricultural fruits bring income to the people.

Regarding the house of love for orphans, Quang Linh said that this was a gift from a Vietnamese benefactor. Currently, he has admitted 12 orphans with both parents, committed to sending them to school until adulthood.

He said, those achievements are not his own efforts, but the efforts of the whole team.

After 6 years of making vlogs, when returning to her hometown to visit her family, Quang Linh was extremely surprised and touched when she received the love and affection of everyone, especially the people in the countryside. “When I went to Tet market, the whole market rushed to hug and kiss. I feel very touched to be loved by everyone.”
